Nudge 20

I work at a bank. One Monday morning I arrived at the branch and there was no power in the building. The phones didn’t even work. No work can be done. No computers opened. We can’t even prove we were there! I’m marveling at the power of God.
We are dependent on power for our daily lives. Electricity and gas power are essential to exist in this world. I know things can get done without this type of power but we’ve gotten so used to having everything work so quickly. We are the society that stands in front of the microwave saying, “HURRY UP!” We are spoiled and dependent.
So without power at the bank we couldn’t do anything. Literally nothing.
Are we using the power that we DO have? Are we taking full advantage of the power we have in Christ? Are we in communication with Him? Are we depending on Him on a regular basis? He is there for us. His power is at our full disposal. He wants us to be in full communication with Him. He wants us to call on Him. He wants to show us His powerful ways. Get plugged in.
Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
