Nudge 28

Write a thank you note.
Someone went out of their way to do something nice for you. They gave you a gift. They were thoughtful. My mother ALWAYS instilled in us to write thank you notes. ALWAYS. She would say, “Writing a thank you note is the least you can do to show your appreciation.” It doesn’t take long.
It’s a lost art really…along with cursive (but I won’t get started on that one.)
And, tell me, who doesn’t like to get personal mail in their mailbox?
We are to have grateful hearts. Writing a thank you note is a simple courtesy. I really hope someday my kids teach their kids the importance of this little gesture.
Again, it’s a show of gratefulness. Sometimes a simple heartfelt verbal thank you note is enough….other times it’s not. Please write a thank you note.
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James1:17
