Nudge 32

Who are you praying for?
I John 5:14: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Jeremiah 29:12: “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”

Prayer is the biggest (by far) power source that is available to us. We have the privilege and honor to go before the one and only ONE TRUE GOD.
He hears our prayers. He desires to hear our prayers.
We, therefore, have a responsibility. Who are you praying for today? Your family? Your friends? Of course you are. But what about our church leaders? What about our leaders in government? We can all agree that these individuals NEED the guidance and support of God Almighty as they are making decisions regarding the future of our nation?

I Timothy 2: 1-4: “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

God wants us to pray. He wants to be in communication with Him. It’s a privilege to pray AND we have the one and only God that hears our prayers and answers them. We need to be intentional in our prayer life.
