Nudge 52

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17

I hate when my children are going through something tough. I hate when they are faced with challenges that they have to face themselves. When they were little and fell and skinned their knee I could clean it, put a Band-Aid on it and kiss it. I could hold them when they were sick or sad. Life is hard and it only gets harder. The problems become bigger. I can’t fix the problems as much anymore. They need to face the challenges the life brings them. I can help them navigate the disappointments and challenges. I can guide them and praise God I can pray for them. There is no bigger power than calling on the name of God for wisdom. There is no greater comfort than the comfort that comes from God.
I’m so thankful that God has gone before us and won each and every battle on this Earth. He is all powerful. He is mighty.
Sidney, Keaton, and Trenton: Do not forget that our God made the heavens and the earth. He is powerful and mighty. Nothing is too hard for Him. He will guide and direct us while loving and comforting us with unspeakable grace and mercy. We are His children. He takes pride in us. He loves us more than we can comprehend. Bad things happen. Life is hard. But, our Mighty God is bigger and stronger. He can handle whatever it is we are facing. He wants us to grow close to Him always. When we hurt we can draw close to Him and He will comfort us. There is no greater gift. There is no greater power. Yet in all His mighty power He is equally the perfect comforter, full of grace and mercy.
No matter what you are facing…NOTHING is too hard for the God we serve.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.” Philemon 1:25
